- Oversees the strategy and implementation of MCMA’s professional development programming.
- Ensures content aligns with the evolving needs of Missouri managers and includes diverse speakers and topics.
- Coordinates key learning events and resources, including:
▸ Spring Conference Subcommittee- Plans and executes MCMA’s multi-day signature event.
- Selects themes, speakers, and tracks with a focus on professional growth and practical tools.
- Builds in networking and recognition components.
- ▸ Winter Workshop Subcommittee
- Plans the one-day winter training event.
- Focuses on timely topics and accessibility for managers at all stages of their careers.
- ▸ (Optional/Flexible) Virtual Programming or Pop-Up Trainings
- Develops short-form or virtual learning opportunities on emerging topics.
- Promotes ICMA professional development.
